Both the boat and the ducks are made of resistant plastic.

The boat, powered by 4 AAA batteries to be inserted in the waterproof compartment, has a powerful motor that sucks water from the bottom and lets it come out of the ducklings sitting at the command post. 
It is also equipped with a removable PVC suction cup, perfect for sticking it to flat surfaces... even underwater!
